We're picking up good vibrations at Edgewood! Our Edgewood Eagle will be trading its nest for a surfboard for a day of beach and boardwalk fun and school spirit. Our students have been navigating the year's biggest waves using their WINGS:

Wonder: Exploring the uncharted waters of curiosity.

Independence: Steering their own boards.

Neighborly: Paddling together and lifting others above the tide.

Gratitude: Appreciating the steady tide of tradition and the community that keeps us afloat.

Success: Sticking the landing on a great school year!

WHAT IS THE EDGEWOOD FAIR?

The Edgewood Fair is an annual community event hosted by the PTA. Held on the school grounds, the fair is a vibrant celebration designed to bring together students, families, alumni, and neighbors. The event features a variety of activities and attractions for all ages, including:

• Game Booths - Handcrafted by community volunteers, these booths offer fun challenges and prizes for children and families.

• Food and Refreshments - A diverse array of food options, from grilled favorites to international cuisine, ensures there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

• Plant Sale - Just in time for Mother’s Day, this booth features a selection of beautiful plants and flowers.

• Raffles and Prizes - Guests can purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win exciting prizes donated by local businesses and residents.

• Community Engagement - Local organizations, such as the volunteer fire department, often participate to add educational and interactive elements to the fair.

The Edgewood Fair is not only a highlight of the school year but also a cherished tradition that strengthens community bonds. It welcomes both new and returning families to connect, contribute, and celebrate the spirit of Edgewood. But the real magic? The incredible sense of belonging you’ll feel when you join in!

Volunteering alongside other community members is a fantastic way to meet new friends, create memories, and show your kids what it means to be part of a caring, engaged, and vibrant community.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Whether you’re an Edgewood veteran or brand-new to the neighborhood, there’s a role for everyone at the fair:

• Join the Planning Committee - Help shape this year’s fair by contributing your creativity to games, food, or other key areas.

• Donate - From baked goods to toys, your contributions make the fair truly special.

• Volunteer on Fair Day - A couple of one-hour shifts is all it takes to make a difference - and inspire your kids to give back.

• Be a Guest - Come with your family, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate Edgewood in all its glory!
