CLASSICAL CAFE

Classical Cafe is an Edgewood tradition that provides students across grade levels with an opportunity to perform a musical piece in front of an audience, to help serve the community, and for each grade level to experience a special lunch together.

Classical Cafe sessions take place during the first half hour of lunch and unlike our regular lunch in which multiple grades eat together, the grade level audience will have the lunchroom to themselves. The grade level audience can enjoy up to 5 performances during a Classical Cafe session while they eat.

Each grade level will experience Classical Cafe once a year. In addition, students from another grade level volunteer to help set up, serve, and clean up for Classical Cafe. There are six Classical Cafe sessions this year; each will take place on a Thursday during our PTA pizza lunch program and parents of the performers are welcome to attend.

For more information on the Classical Cafe organization, please visit Ms. Giustino’s page here.

We are always looking for students who would like to share their talent in music. If your child is interested in performing for Classical Cafe, please encourage your child to contact Ms. Giustino during their music class. Special thanks to our PTA chairs this year, Ms. Bates and Ms. Makarov.

If you are interested in volunteering for Classical Cafe, please contact the chairs.
