Introduction to Fashion Design (1-5)

Unleash your child's passion for fashion in this exciting class! Students will experiment with a
variety of ideas and essential elements, providing them with the tools to embark on their journey
as budding fashion designers. The adventure begins with a focus on selecting vibrant colors,
exploring various materials and textures that are currently on trend, resulting in the creation of
personalized mood boards that reflect their unique concepts.  Each student's individual mood board will serve as a guide as they bring their designs to life, crafting patterns, garments, and accessories, including bags, shoes, and jewelry, with the option to add a touch of sparkle for that extra flair. Building a solid foundation in fashion drawing techniques, students will gain a deeper understanding of expressing their distinct sense of style. As the semester unfolds, the culmination of their creativity will be showcased in a final portfolio of Fashion Designs, providing a platform for discussion and celebration.

Musical Theater (K-2)

This semester, we are proud to present a mini version of the beloved and well-known musical
classic, LION KING! For this class, your child will learn songs, scenes, and dances, all of which
will be showcased during a performance at the end of the semester onstage, complete with
costume pieces and props! This class is perfect for exposing young performers to the process of
putting on a musical production!

Mad Science presents: Bugs, Birds, Beasts and Beyond (K-2)

Join Mad Science this session and explore the natural world and its adaptations. Observe creepy
crawly bugs, make casts of animal tracks & study the feeding habits of owls as we dissect their
lunch’s remains. Some of the weekly topics in this session are: Bugs, Earthworks, Walloping
Weather, Mission Nutrition, All about Animals, Life in the Sea, The Birds & the Beasts, Earth
Awareness, and the Science of Sport!

PixPro Photography/Digital Design (3-5)
STEM Alliance

Max: 12 students
Students will first learn about the PixPro program learning about the history of photography as
well as the progression of cameras. In this program the students become a photographer,
applying important concepts that professional photographers look for when it comes to taking a
great photo. Students are encouraged to express themselves throughout the pictures that they
take. Once students have created a photo book to showcase their work, they will then go into
digital design. Digital design allows students to learn about different websites and software
programs to create original ideas. This is when students will be using the pictures taken
throughout their pix pro sessions by creating their own brand based on their interests, a
magazine cover using pictures and techniques they learned in pix pro, and create their own logo
sticker and print them showcasing their branding and original ideas and pictures.

Robotics Exploration (K- 2)

Ignite young children’s curiosity and enhance their skills in science, technology, engineering, and
coding through this hands-on robotics course. Students build and program models like snails,
rovers, race cars, frogs, and more using programmable smart hubs, motors, sensors, and LEGO®
bricks. Introducing an easy programming environment, this course empowers students to bring
their creations to life, providing a fun and engaging introduction to this exciting world of building
and programming robots.

Basketball, Football, Baseball (2 - 5)

F.A.S.T. Athletics will offer three popular sports this semester by bringing basketball, football,
and baseball to the after school program. The program will include proper warm-up games,
learning skills for each sport, and will end with a high energy game with the sport played that
day.

Camp Games (K - 1)

Students will participate in a variety of summer camp style games like capture the flag, tag 
games, kickball, soccer, basketball, and relay races.

TUESDAY
Welcome to SCRAPS! (3-5)
Matthew Fitz

Max: 12 students
Utilizing all the scraps left-overs from art projects, discarded machines, excess supplies, and
other items headed for the dumpster. We will create, invent, design, and make. Students will
have the opportunity to explore the inner workings of simple machines and motors, how certain
chemicals interact with each other, and safely (under the guidance of Mr. Fitz) use tools to
manipulate wood, metal, and other materials. They may bring an item home or just a story from
their experience. This is not an art class. The class is limited to 12 children to ensure safety. The
class fee covers all additional materials, such as batteries, LED’s, and miscellaneous items. Spots
are reserved for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade only.

Jewelry & Beading (Regular and Advanced) (K-5)

In this creative, engaging and hands-on class, students construct beautiful and high quality
beaded jewelry & accessories for the winter and spring! Everyone will work on a bead design
board and choose from an amazing selection of beads (crystals, sea glass, ceramics, etc) lead-free
charms and components to create high quality keepsakes including: necklaces, bracelets, rings,
keychains, bookmarks, room decorations, ankle bracelets, hair accessories, pocketbooks and
more. Each week will feature new projects and fun techniques. All ages and levels are welcome
and accommodated. Melanie Rose, instructor, is the owner of BEADZ (www.gobeadz.com)
Westchester’s Jewelry & Beading party and workshop service. The class fee covers all materials.

Environmental Explorers (K-2)

Your child will look at the natural world with new eyes after taking iCAMP’s Environmental
Explorers course. Filled with fun activities, science experience, and creative projects, this class
encourages students to better understand and appreciate nature and the physical laws that
govern it. Students will make imprints in salt dough to demonstrate how tracks and fossils are
left in the mud. They will build their very own windmills and learn more about the possibilities of
renewable energy. They’ll even create their own thermometers, anemometers, and barometers
to learn how the outside world can be measured and analyzed. Over time, your Environmental
Explorers will come to understand what makes the Earth special and how we can best protect
and sustain our own environment.

Learn to Code with Scratch Jr. (K- 1)

Designed for young students without prior programming experience, this course introduces the
fundamentals through a visual programming approach. By utilizing programming blocks,
students learn to breathe life into their characters, customizing their appearance, movements,

effect exploration are emphasized, all while fostering an enjoyable learning environment.

Debate (3-5)

Learn the art of persuasion! Students work in rotating groups and practice their debating skills in
a supportive environment, including developing arguments, issuing rebuttals, providing
examples, rebuilding their case and summarizing points of view. Students learn to think on their
feet and enhance their public-speaking skills, gaining self-confidence in the process.

Ultimate Martial Arts (1 - 5)

class. In this exciting program your child will become both physically and mentally stronger,

themselves with proper self-defense techniques. In this awesome martial arts class, there will be

Gaga /Mash-up - FENOM's customized combo class. Mash-ups are our signature multi-sport
activity that not only teaches fundamentals of each sport but safely introduces the importance of
fitness. The fundamental techniques of running, jumping, throwing, catching, and dribbling are
some of the activities that participants engage in. Gaga is a fast paced, high-energy sport played
in an octagonal pit. The more players the better! The game is played with a soft foam ball and
combines the skills of our mash-up class!

WEDNESDAY

Daxie Days/Weave & Yarn Project (1 - 5)

In Daxie Days, join Sew Happy for a fun sewing club and learn hand sewing skills including
threading a needle, tying a knot, straight stitch, whipstitch, lock stitch, cutting skills and project
construction. Projects include an adorable dachshund dog stuffie complete with a coat and dog
bone.
In Weave & Yard Projects, we will use yarn, cardboard, fabric scraps, twigs, wooden hoops,
buttons, and beads to make colorful projects. Great for improving fine motor skills and
enjoyable for creative kids!

Watercolor Painting (K-2)

Explore different cultures from around the world through music and dance!
Using creative movement games and improvisation, students will try many traditional dances

Creator’s Club: Art and Engineering (K-2)

Practical and creative design meet in this club for young creators interested in both art and
engineering. Here, students will learn the nuts and bolts behind home design, animal habitat
creation, and even engineer their own obstacle courses – along with many more challenging

as architecture, natural science, and engineering, and empowers them to create and design their
own projects centered on these topics. Over time, they will develop the confidence they need to
apply engineering principles in their own lives and inspire a lifetime of planning, building, and
creating.

Graphic Design and Digital Storytelling (3-5)

If you’ve got a young artist in your life, iCAMP’s Graphic Design and Digital Storytelling course can

how to design their own emojis, work with Google to create their very own websites, and
animate their own art with the help of software like Pixilart. Each new skill learned in this course
will give your child a new outlet to express their creativity. Through storyboards, mood boards,
animations, and more, your child will gain access to a whole new world of self expression and
confidence in their artistic abilities. And, with a focus on using modern platforms and technology,
they’ll leave with a knowledge base that will help open doors for a future in graphic design.

Beginner Chess Wizards Enrichment Club (K - 3)

*Please note this is a beginner chess class. Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company
providing students with fun, informative, and challenging lessons. Chess Wizards teaches
children many important life concepts, such as winning graciously and accepting defeat with

experience. At the end of this session, each student would have had the chance to participate in
a mini-chess tournament.

Winter & Spring Combo Cooking Class (K - 5)

Do you love sweet and savory recipes? If so, then this class will satisfy your appetite. Each week
the children will prepare a recipe and bring it home with baking instructions for all to enjoy. We
will make NY style pretzels, cinnamon rolls, creamy veggie dip, best chocolate cake, cheesy
broccoli tots, and everyone’s favorite pizza bubbles. As we move into Spring and warmer days
we will make lemon loaf cake, focaccia bread, hamantaschen cookies, happy face guacamole dip
and refreshing corn salad. As always there will be many “pop up” recipes along the way!

TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn and play tennis right on their school
campus! Our proprietary curriculums for elementary and middle schools were created by TGA’s
education experts and the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Students will experience a
mix of tennis instruction, rules & etiquette lessons, educational components, character
development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the five-level program. Our
screened and certified instructors have a passion for working with children and are trained to
help your student athlete develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge as well as a

If you love desserts and sweet treats, then this class is for you! Each week the children will
prepare a recipe and bring it home with baking instructions for all to enjoy. During the Winter
months we will make a sweet carrot cake, banana chocolate chip oat bars, our best chocolate
cake, a sweet Valentine’s Day surprise, and soft ginger cookies. As we move into Spring, we will
make a lemon loaf cake, Hamantaschen cookies, oreo cookie dip, apple twist donuts, Earth Day
cookies, and cinnamon swirl bread. As always there will be sweet surprise recipes along the way!

Minecraft Club (2-5)

Is your child crazy about Minecraft? Or interested in learning more about the smash video game
hit? You might be surprised at how effective this world of crafting and design can be for teaching
students complex coding and software concepts – while never once seeming like anything but

sequential logic, circuitry, and basic coding, all while improving their 3D design skills and
engaging in socioemotional learning. By the end of the course, students will learn how to use
redstone to build circuitry in Minecraft and use the Minecraft Education Edition’s block-based
coding language to learn concepts like conditionals, loops, and variables.

campus or recreation department! Our curriculums were specially designed by industry-leading
golf professionals and education specialists to ensure that the lesson plans are age-appropriate
